Ingredients:
200g of softened Unsalted Butter
300g of Golden Caster Sugar
300g of Self-raising Flour
200g of Milk Chocolate Chips
80g of cornflakes
A pinch of sea salt
1 Large Egg
Method:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C/ 400 degrees F/ Gas Mark 6. Then, line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then whisk in the egg until smooth.
Add the flour, chocolate chips, cornflakes and sea salt to form a dough. Then, divide into 12 balls (one for each cookie).
Squash the balls of dough down onto a baking tray leaving plenty of space for each cookie as they do grow fairly big.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the cookies are golden. Leave them to cool for 20 minutes on the tray and then transfer them to a wire rack to cool fully.
When the cookies are taken out of the oven, they may not looked cooked, but don't put them back in otherwise they will burn and not taste that great :)
So guys, that's it for today's post. I hope you enjoyed this post, and I will see you very, very soon,
Love Lou
