New post every Sunday

A white tee is something that everyone has in their wardrobe. It's a complete staple, but they can often seem too boring and hard to style so I've devised a list of 10 ways you can wear them!

Who remembers these types of post!? 'Shop Your Stash' posts were some of my favourites to read back in 2015 and 2016 but it's something that I've not seen for a while!

So, at this point you're either thinking I'm totally insane or your reminiscing the days of the excitement of rediscovering a fresh bottle of discontinued concealer in the back of your drawer! For those of you who don't have a clue what I'm going on, in a nutshell shopping your stash is when you go through your make up collection and pick out a few make up bits that you haven't used for a while, and showing them a bit of love (obviously make sure it hasn't gone out of date first!).

I love this notion so much because it really helps you figure out which products you absolutely love and those that are a bit naff. It also helps you keep on top of your collection and helps you realise that maybe you didn't need to get that foundation that was about 10 times darker than your skin tone because "I might need it at some point" - famous last words, huh?

So, I thought we could go on this lil' journey together. For the next month, I'm going to pick out 3 products and try to incorporate them into every look. I'm going to be posting photos as much as I can on instagram and use #stashshop2018, so you can post them as well so I can see them.

So, my three products are : Tanya Burr Hollywood Palette (I've hit pan on 2 shades so I'm hoping to use them both up!), MAC's plumful lipstick (remember when this was my holy grail?!) and Rimmel Match Perfection concealer!

Make sure you let me know your three products in the comments and don't forget to tag me and use #stashshop2018 in any Instagram posts! Thank you all so much for reading, and I'll see you all next week,

A couple of weeks ago, I did a Selena Gomez get the look and on Instagram, I had a lot of requests to do one of Zendaya's outfits, so here we are..!

I really loved the simplicity of this outfit so it won't be too hard to recreate!

First off is just a classic white tee that's just £7.99 from New Look!

This jacket was one of the hardest items to get as similar as possible, but I think I've got pretty close. I picked out the Topshop (faux) leather jacket.

These jeans were actually pretty easy to find - these Missguided blue riot high rise distressed jeans are a nearly perfect match!
For the shoes, I've found these Michael Kors gold beauties that have just a little more metallic on them!

The earrings are very minimalistic so I've picked out these ASOS 50mm hoops.

For the lips, I've chosen the Too Faced melted matte liquid lipstick in "On Point"

I've really enjoyed tracking these pieces down, so let me know who you want me to do another "get the look" on in the comments! Thank you all so much for reading, and I'll see you next week,

It took me a long time to build up the courage to start a blog and even when I did start my blog I didn't really know what I was doing and what to expect. My only plan was to post the occasional post as a way to past the time - this was almost 2 and 1/2 years ago. At the start of my1- time blogging I often got very disheartened so I wanted to share with you a few things I wish I'd known before I started my blog!

1- Posts take a lot longer than you think to plan, write and upload

When I wrote my first post I was actually really shocked at how long it took to write. Before I had my blog, I thought it was just a case of thinking of a post title and writing a couple hundred words and that was it! Any bloggers reading this will know that this really isn't the case. However, I do think it's one of those things that you cannot fully appreciate how long it takes until you're in the situation yourself.

2- It takes months (even years) to be completely happy with your blog, content and niche

If I'm completely honest, I'm not 100%  happy with my blog even after 2 and a half years. As there is always new trends and fashions in the blogosphere it's very easy to become unhappy with the content you're producing because you look at someone else's blog and wish you had their layout or writing style, etc. etc. So, make sure you try to find your niche straight away and stick to your guns ; don't be swayed by trends if you're not into them!

3- Views and followings take time

This is one I think every blogger has suffered through out their time. It's really discouraging, especially at the start, when you spend 2 hours on a post and you're really happy with it to get a tiny percentage of your normal post views. It's not something that ever completely goes away but you learn how to overcome it.

4- It can be really stressful at times

A lot of people won't understand this one... but the pressure can get to you sometimes. Trying to keep up with the aspirational lifestyle that we're constantly sold on social media can be hard and really overwhelming. The pressure to also constantly upload high quality content that viewers enjoy can be difficult so it's best to find your niche and content you enjoy as early on as possible.

5- Some people won't like your content, but that's okay

Your content won't always be everyone's cup of tea, but that is completely fine. As long as YOU like the content you produce. At the end of the day, your content is up to you and don't let a small minority of people ruin that content and love of writing and blogging for you.

So, I've probably just made blogging sound something that's really scary, but I promise you it's not. Blogging is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done and I cannot imagine my life without it!
