February Favourites!
Hey everyone,
It doesn't feel very long at all since I did my January Favourites, but nevertheless, I'm back again with my February Favourites...
The first thing I have been loving this month is the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 625 Sparkle Nude (£5). I love the feel of this when you apply it - when you first put it on it feels more like a cream shadow but when you've blended it in it feels like more of a powder consistency and doesn't feel heavy like some eye pencils can. Also, this blends really well and doesn't immediately stick to your eye like others and then they are really hard to blend! The colour itself is perfect for Spring and Summer as it's a gorgeous bronzy gold with quite chunky silver glitter running through it.
Another thing I have been completely obsessed with is the new Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash. This is a rinse off gel cleanser but it has integrated Micellar technology so it removes make up really easily (it's like a make up magnet!!) the same as a Micellar cleansing water. I find with some gel washes you have to really scrub at your face to get all of the product off but this one is nothing like the others. This makes taking your make up off really easy and I was really impressed with how it got rid of my liquid liner which the normal Micellar cleansing water doesn't do. This is now my all time favourite cleanser and retails at just £3.99 so it's a complete bargain!
I have also been reaching for Collection Lip Butter in 3 Vintage Rose a lot this month. This is a gorgeous dusky pale rose that goes with literally every single make up look. It's one of those shades that I think will suit everyone and just slot perfectly into any look to finish it off perfectly - do you know what I mean?!? Anyway, this is available at most high street drugstores and retails at just £2.99 which is insane because it's so so pigmented and moisturising
My favourite tv show this month has by far been the Halcyon on ITV at 9 pm on Mondays. It was the season finale just over a week ago and it was incredible (I won't give anything away for those of you who haven't watched it yet!). Anyway, it's set in a hotel in Britain during World War 2 and I feel like it was one of the shows where you just really connect with the characters and get very involved with the storyline. Also, it's not a predictable storyline - when you think you know what's about to happen, something completely different happens and it completely changes how you thought the storyline would go!
And finally, a blog I have been completely loving is Life as Tilly Rose. Tilly's posts are always so finished and her photos are incredible so hop on over to her blog by clicking the link above and check her out!
Anyway, that's all for today, but be sure to come back again on Friday for another new post. I love you all so very much,
Love Lou
